What FAVEO sees

Six readings in the room and the weather outside. Each has its own screen, its own norm and its own reason why it matters. Tap any of them.

  1. FAVEO on a nightstand at night, the screen shows the day's CO₂ graph

    Carbon dioxide

Carbon dioxide itself is not a poison. It is the most honest sign that a closed room has not had fresh air for a long time.

    under 800 — fresh · 800–1400 — getting stuffy · above 1400 — open a window

  2. FAVEO on a small table by a sunny window, the screen shows the temperature graph

    Temperature

One room, two right answers: 21–22 degrees by day, 18–20 at night. The device shows the air temperature, not that of its own circuit board.

    20–25 °C — comfortable · 18–20 and 25–28 — attention · below 18 or above 28 — out of range

  3. FAVEO among houseplants by a window, the screen shows the humidity graph

    Humidity

In winter the heating dries a room to a desert-like 15–20 %; in summer damp above 60 % feeds mould. Between them is a narrow band where everyone is fine.

    40–60 % — comfortable · 30–40 and 60–65 — attention · below 30 or above 65 — out of range

  4. FAVEO on a bookshelf, the screen shows the pressure graph

    Pressure

The only reading without any health norm. So the device shows the number and the three-hour trend, but never colours it yellow or red.

a drop of 3–4 hPa in 3 hours — noted in words · any value — no colour

  5. FAVEO in stripes of sunlight through blinds, the screen shows the light graph

    Light

By day a room usually has 300–500 lux against a hundred thousand outside. In the evening 200 is enough to shift sleep. The device sees both.

    150 lux and up by day — enough · 50–150 — attention · below 50 by day — dark

  6. FAVEO on a shelf next to a cassette player, the screen shows the noise graph

    Noise

The microphone measures level in decibels only. Nothing is recorded: there is nowhere on the device to store it.

    day under 40 dB — quiet · night under 30 dB — quiet · day 40–55, night 30–45 — attention

  7. FAVEO by a window, the screen shows the weather outside

    Weather outside

Sixteen tiles on the Outside screen: temperature and feels-like, wind and gusts, humidity, pressure, UV, rain, air quality index and dust. All of it feeds the advice to open a window.

air index up to 50 — airing is fine · 51–100 — moderate · 101 and above — keep the window shut
